Andrea Atzeni is celebrating after a treble at Haydock on Saturday. The Ashby Underwriting sponsored jockey rode the Kevin Ryan trained Emaraaty Ana to victory in the Group 1, Betfair Sprint Cup at Haydock for owner Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum, after earlier wins on Triple Time and Artistic Rifles.
Andrea’s first winner of the day Artistic Rifles, kept on well during the final furlong to win the Group 3, Betfair Double Daily Rewards Superior Mile Stakes over 1 mile. Soon after Andrea picked up his second winner of the day Triple Time, who faced challenge from two furlongs out, but kept on strongly with one furlong to go in the Betfair Exchange Ascendant Stakes (Listed Race) over 1 mile, for two-year-olds.
