Our story
Our Chief Underwriter, David Ashby, has been immersed in the horse world from childhood. Growing up on a farm meant learning the essentials of raising foals and caring for livestock from a young age. From there, he went on to compete in point-to-points, as well as eventing, breeding, and keeping brood mares and foals.
David’s horses have run on some of the biggest stages. These include the Cheltenham Festival, Royal Ascot, Grand National and various world championship level events. That first-hand knowledge of competition and breeding gives him a unique perspective on the needs of clients and their horses.
